Unfortunately, you can’t quite be in two different places at once; even though today’s technology can almost make it possible, the result is that you’re not quite in either one. Split your presence and attention too much and you might as well be as flimsy, ineffective, and transparent as a ghost. It’s time to make potentially difficult choices about where you actually want to be, and then really go be there. I know it seems impossible to decide, but you’ve got to. If you can’t choose somewhere to go, you’ll simply wind up nowhere.

HA!

Good Morning, Good Morning

There are few things comparable to sitting down in the backyard with a cup of strong brew coffee + cream, your favorite newspaper sections and an argument about religion with mom on a sparkling, Fall morning. It really just takes the breath away…

Anyone know a decent adoption detective?

It’s amazing how quickly time passes. Day to day. Month to month. Years too many.

Mundane. Frivolous. We moan and quack and ask where did it go and how? WHOOSH. TIME/LIFE.

It’s even more amazing when, at what resembles the gut-scraping, blinding speed of light, you realize how so much more quickly someone that you love can slip through your fingers, at any given moment for any given reason.
